I am curious as to how the members of our classes feel about sharing their work with everyone. It seems like everyone is so open and willing to share. That attitude creates such a wonderful community of learning and an environment that benefits all...students and teachers alike. Sometimes people get proprietary, maybe that won't happen if we remember to give each other credit when showing and sharing these projects with other audiences.

I absolutely agree;I think it's vital for the education of our students that we are open to new ideas. Not being geniuses (well, I'm only speaking for myself), we can't always come up with the best plans. It's only natural to borrow from others, to listen to what has or hasn't worked and tweak it to suit yourself and your class' needs.

Unless one has a constant need to have their ego stroked, where is the harm or shame in identifying where your idea came from? Kudos to those who share....like the ripples in a pond, so are the ideas in a learning community spread. (Thanks to 'Days of Our Lives' for the inspiration behind the last line)
